Ballater 10 mile
The famous Ballater 10 is a 10 mile road race through superb countryside around Ballater, Royal Deeside.
Time: SUNDAY 30TH JULY 2023 – 12 NOON
Start and finish is at Monaltrie Park in Ballater.
The route will be the same as the last several years though checks need to be made following the recent storms, see provisional map below. There are two sections where the road or track has been damaged; by the road down to the Muick and the track to the Polhollick Footbridge. At these points there will be short paths through the woods, so please take care here.

Limited entries will be taken on the day, if you really can’t pre-enter. No refunds will be given.

Age Limit: Competitors must be at least 18 years old on the day of the race.
Race entry limit: There are currently no plans to limit entries however, this will be monitored.
Rules: The event is conducted under UK Athletics Rules and is a Scottish Athletics Permit Event.
Important Notes: Entries online if possible please as this will really help us with race-day admin.
Limited changing facilities and no showers.
There will be a water stop at the top of the hill by Knock Castle.
We aim to hold the prizegiving at 2pm at Monaltrie Park.
